Terms and Conditions

To ensure that you understand and accept the risks of your participation in any of The Milestone Detox programmes (hereinafter referred to as "programme"), you must indicate your understanding and agreement by ticking the acceptance box in the appropriate place on our site. In booking a Milestone Detox programme you are deemed to have understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

I affirm that my participation in the programme is entirely voluntary, and understand that participation in any and all sessions and activities while at the Retreat (hereinafter referred to as "Sessions") involves a risk of injury due to certain inherent circumstances that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries, such as, but not limited to, the following: contact with other individuals; contact with stable and unstable surfaces; contact with fitness equipment; taxes placed on the body from performing rigorous physical activity; strenuous exertions; quick movements; changes of speed, and other stresses placed on your body's cardiovascular, muscular, and skeletal systems. The specific risks may vary from minor injuries such as scratches, bruises and sprains, to major injuries such as twisted ankles and joint injuries. I understand that if I have questions about possible hazards, it is my responsibility to seek additional information from my physician(s) and the Company, prior to booking a Milestone Detox programme. 

I also understand that, despite safety precautions taken by the Company, neither the Company nor its staff, managers or owners can guarantee that I will not be injured while participating in Sessions. I agree to assume these risks. I understand that the best way to ensure my own safety and avoid injury is to follow the rules, regulations and instructions of The Milestone Detox and the Retreat staff. 

I understand I may experience detox symptoms as toxins leave my body, that may include headaches, feeling hot, feeling cold, feeling tired and nausea. These are quite common and I accept that this is part of the process of detoxification. I understand that I should obtain a medical evaluation and doctor's approval prior to my participation in any programme whether I have any pre-existing health issues or not. I understand that I will be solely responsible for any and all medical expenses incurred due to my participation in any programme.

The Company shall be responsible to participants for the programme(s) offered for supplying the services and accommodations described on the Company website and in all supporting documents, except where such services cannot be supplied or the planned itinerary is changed due to delays or other causes of whatever kind or nature beyond the control of the Company. In such circumstances the Company will do its best to supply comparable services, accommodations, and itineraries and there shall be no refund under this condition. 

Where the Participant occupies any form of transportation provided by the Company, the Company will not be liable for any injury, illness, or death or for any loss, damages or claims whatsoever arising from any accident or incident if the safety belt is not being worn at the time of such accident or incident. It is the responsibility of the participant to comply with the terms, conditions or requirements of any service provider, or to bear any costs or losses incurred as a consequence of not complying with them. 

I understand that The Milestone Detox may take photographs of participants from time to time, which may be used in marketing/public relations material in the promotion of the Retreat and the Company. I give permission for the release of these photographs.

I agree to let The Milestone Detox send me and my guests future email communications that may include inspirational and educational content, latest news and offers. I understand that I/they may unsubscribe from these non-essential emails at any time.

Cancellation Policy

Notification of cancellation must be given in writing or email. The email must be sent to office@themilestonedetox.com. The cancellation of your stay will not be deemed effective until such time as The Milestone Detox Ltd has acknowledged your letter or email. An administration charge of £100 will be applied. If you are unable to attend you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place (same dates and programme) with no extra cost. 

If you cancel more than 30 days from your start date we will refund 50% of the total value of your booking. If you cancel less than 30 days from your start date no refund will be given. 

We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover the cost of our fees should you cancel or reschedule. 

In the unlikely event that it should be necessary for The Milestone Detox to cancel your stay due to circumstances beyond our control, The Milestone Detox will refund your fees in full, or offer you suitable alternative dates within a reasonable period of time. However, we do not accept liability for your travel costs if you have paid fares in advance. In the unlikely event that we have 3 or less people booked for your programme, 7 days before it is due to begin, we reserve the right to offer you a full refund of an alternative date. We recommend that you take out travel insurance to cover every eventuality.
